Christopher Vaughn sentenced for murders of wife, children

CHICAGO -- Christopher Vaughn was sentenced to four life terms Tuesday for fatally shooting his wife and three children after pulling off an expressway in 2007.

Breast cancer rates higher in 4 California regions, study shows

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- Four regions of California, including two in the Bay Area, have substantially higher-than-average rates of invasive breast cancer, but the cause remains a mystery, researchers revealed Monday.
